Meet Recap

The Lakeridge golf team placed 2nd at the second day of the District Tournament. There score of 306 was their best this year. Avery Keating and Mitch Rose both scored 73 and tied with two other players for Medalist honors for the day. Avery had a two day score of 146 which was the lowest of all the players over the two days. Avery and Mitch were followed by Tim Lee with a 79, and Kevin Thropp and Andrew Pearson, each of whom shot 81. Avery Keating was one of 5 players who earned first team all-District honors and Tim Lee earned second team all-District honors. Avery has qualified for the state golf tournament and Tim Lee has qualified for the Regional tournament. Finally, Coach Nelson Neal was named co-coach of the year with Kyle Sobotta of West Linn.
