Robins Throws Shutout As Lakeridge Pacers Defeats Sherwood

Josh Robins didn’t allow a single run as Lakeridge Pacers defeated Sherwood 2-0 on Friday. Robins allowed just three hits and induced a groundout from Edmunds to end the game.
The pitching was strong on both sides. Josh Robins struck out eight, while hurlers for Sherwood sat down seven.
A single by Burns in the second inning was a positive for Sherwood.
Robins earned the win for Lakeridge. He threw seven innings, allowing zero runs, three hits, striking out eight, and walking zero. J Sandilands took the loss for Sherwood. He went three innings, allowing two runs, four hits, striking out one, and walking one.
Brendon Sloan went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Lakeridge Pacers Varsity in hits.
Sherwood didn’t commit a single error in the field. Abiley had eight chances in the field, the most on the team.
