Meet Recap

Emmett Moore was able to add another point to the Pacers’ tally on the second day of the competition by winning his two consolation singles matches. Emmett will play in the consolation final on the last day of the event and attempt to add yet another point to the Lakeridge total.

Meanwhile the Pacers’ 8th seeded doubles team was unable to overcome their 3rd seeded opponent from Jesuit. Patrick Kanapeaux and Jack Ninteman battled valiantly, but came up just short in each set. Jesuit posted a 6-3, 6-3 win and then went on to win their semifinal match to set up an all Jesuit doubles final.

(Note that VNN forces entering point totals as whole numbers. Roseburg actually had 6.5 points at day’s end to place them in 8th behind Lakeridge, but VNN rounds the total up to 7.)
