Meet Recap

Emmett Moore added another point to the Pacers’ total on the final day of the OSAA 2017 6A Boys Tennis State Championship. Moore outdueled Garret Laurie of Sheldon High School to secure the consolation final by a score of 6-4, 6-2. The win brought the total for Lakeridge to 8 points which would have been good for a share of 4th place, the final trophy position. Unfortunately for the Pacers, Sprague High School also added a point on the day. Sprague won the third place doubles match against Roseburg and bumped their total up to 9 points, securing sole possession of the 4th place spot.

Jesuit (32 points) was the team winner, followed by Lincoln (16 points), Westview (12 points), and Sprague (9 points). Lakeridge shared 5th place with West Linn and South Eugene (8 points), and Grant finished 8th (7 points). Rounding out the top 10 were Roseburg (6.5 points) and Central Catholic (6 points).
