To LHS players/parents,
INTRODUCTION
Welcome to another exciting year of Pacers boys soccer! I’m very excited for the new season! After our incredible season last year, with the varsity team winning the 6A State Championship, we’ll be looking to defend our crown this year by preparing ourselves over the summer! We want to create a foundation for success and use our time this summer to get ahead of our competition.

Please review ALL of the following information below and start planning your summer in order to try and make yourself available for as many training sessions and camps as possible. I understand people have a lot of things going on during the summer. With that said, there is a certain expectation that players will make the effort to attend our sessions wherever possible. Not a problem if players miss a week here or there throughout June/July. However, I would like to emphasize the importance of our pre-season training program and especially our two camps in August.

Please also refer to the printable PDF schedule for the FULL summer program. (PDF file attached)..

JUNE/JULY TRAINING SESSIONS

We will be conducting regular weight and player field training session throughout June/July.

I have included a sign up sheet below for our Summer (June/July) Training Program. Please put your name down so I can have an indication of who will be turning up on each day. This will help me with planning the sessions and also help with keeping record of who has been attending.

FUNDRAISING EVENTS
Secondly, we have multiple fundraising events coming up. These events are our main sources of fundraising. Please review the following dates and sign up for as much as possible. Fundraising enables us to provide our program with high quality equipment and allows us to have an assistant coach and work towards some of our other program fundraising goals.

You will see multiple ‘google docs’ below which you can click on and sign up for each event. Please fill in your name as soon as possible. Please don’t leave it to the last minute. If everyone is able to give up just a few hours of their time we should be able to cover all the roles listed below and have a successful fundraising campaign again this year.

I’m currently working hard to try and purchase Team Shelters for us this year (see pic attached). Total cost for 2xTeam shelters is $9,999 delivered. I’m actively looking for any donations, sponsors or ideas to raise some funds for this purchase. We are currently about half way to our goal (this includes contribution from the girls program). Additionally we will be making money this summer to add to this. I’d say we will need an extra $3000 from outside sources in order to make this a reality for the upcoming season! Let me know if you have any leads or are willing to donate towards this long term major purchase for the program.
