Lakeridge Pacers Drops Game To Tigard After Late Score
Thursday’s game against Tigard was a heartbreaker for Lakeridge Pacers, as they lost the lead late in a 6-3 defeat. The game was tied at three with Tigard batting in the top of the sixth when Kuntz singled off of Hunter Paulson, driving in one run.
Lakeridge Pacers lost despite out-hitting Tigard eight to five.
Tigard captured the lead in the second inning. Tigard scored two runs when Kuntz singled with two outs in the second inning.
In the bottom of the fifth inning, Lakeridge Pacers tied things up at three. Tommy Andrew drove in one when he doubled in the fifth inning.
Lakeridge Pacers scored three runs in the fifth inning. Lakeridge Pacers scored on a error and a double by Andrew.
Andrade earned the win for Tigard. He pitched seven innings, giving up three runs, eight hits, striking out two, and walking zero. Hunter Paulson took the loss for Lakeridge Pacers. He tossed three innings, surrendering three runs, three hits, and striking out two.
Chris Simons started the game for Lakeridge Pacers. He tossed four innings, allowing three runs, two hits, and striking out four.
Lakeridge Pacers collected eight hits. Andrew, Beau Bryant, and Cal Seneker each collected multiple hits for Lakeridge Pacers. Seneker, Bryant, and Andrew each managed two hits to lead Lakeridge Pacers.
Kuntz went 3-for-4 at the plate as he led the team with three runs batted in.
