Lakeridge Pitches Well, But Can’t Find Enough Runs In Loss To Newberg
Both teams were strong on the mound on Friday, but Newberg was just a little bit stronger at the plate in a victory over Lakeridge Pacers on Friday. Everest Webster started the game for Lakeridge Pacers and recorded 13 outs.
A single by Beau Bryant in the first inning was a positive for Lakeridge Pacers.
Palmer earned the win for Newberg. He threw seven innings, allowing zero runs, three hits, striking out eight, and walking one. Everest Webster took the loss for Lakeridge Pacers. He tossed four and a third innings, allowing three runs, seven hits, striking out four, and walking one.
Colin Hardy, Bryant, and Harrison Brown all had one hit to lead Lakeridge Pacers.
Newberg was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Reohr had the most chances in the field with eight.
