Lakeridge Pacers Freshman watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 12-0 loss to Lake Oswego on Tuesday. Lake Oswego took the lead on a sacrifice fly in the first inning.
The Lakeridge Pacers Freshman struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Lake Oswego, giving up 12 runs.
Lake Oswego opened up scoring in the first inning. Oliver’s sac fly scored one run for Lake Oswego.
One bright spot for Lakeridge Pacers Freshman was a single by Michael Brannon in the fifth inning.
Wagner was credited with the victory for Lake Oswego. He allowed zero hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out five and walking one. Perez threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
Joey Shafer took the loss for Lakeridge Pacers Freshman. He went three and a third innings, allowing six runs on five hits, striking out one and walking zero
Brannon and Shafer all had one hit to lead Lakeridge Pacers Freshman.
Lake Oswego racked up ten hits on the day. Oliver and Owens all managed multiple hits for Lake Oswego. Lake Oswego tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Miller led the way with two.
