The Pacers are tied for 4th place after the first day of the Oregon High School Tennis Tournament.
Lakeridge had first round wins at first singles (Jack Ninteman), first doubles (Ethan Davies and Dante Sterling), second doubles (Colton Lowry and Andrew Slominski), and third doubles (Nathan Mittelstadt and Tyler Pyle). Meanwhile, second singles (Andy Goldenberg), third singles (Jason Gao), fourth singles (Etan Khlevnoy), and fourth doubles (Dalton Stormo and Joon Lee) all suffered first round losses.
In the second round, the Pacers scored victories at second doubles (Lowry and Slominski) and fourth doubles (Stormo and Lee). Ninteman lost an incredible match to a previously unheralded Summit player at first singles; Davies and Sterling lost to a very good Jesuit pair at first doubles, as did Pyle and Mittelstadt at third doubles.
Second round losses meant elimination for Goldenberg, Gao, and Khlevnoy. All the other Pacers would live to fight another day.
